One of the first, and most important conversations we have with any potential client, is whether or not they should use concrete. Its important to understand exactly what it is, and what it is not. To start, it's beautiful because it's concrete. We do not compare it to granite, quartz, marble, or any other natural or man made surfaces. Every material has its place, and we would be the last to say concrete should be considered because its cheaper, it out performs, or it can look like something it's not. The truth about concrete is that it's beautifully unpredictable. It's handmade, and no two pieces are alike. It's imperfections speak to its process. With care, it may age or patina gracefully. With minimal maintenance it will remain beautiful, and last forever. Mistreated or neglected for extended periods of time, it will fail.

We don't believe in the saying "All Sales Final". Unfortunately at times when we are asked to come check a product for defects, abuse is evident. Concrete should not be thought of as lifeproof. Please understand it's characteristics before installing it in rental units, or places where others will not treat it as their own.
